When Harry met Sally
The movie is about long time friends who have hidden feelings for each other but rule out giving into their erotic sides due to fear of breaking a longstanding friendship. The stories being discussed in the scene where Sally faked an orgasm was actually a collection of stories from couples the director had compiled. The museum scene where Billy Crystal spoke “But, I would be proud to partake of your pecan pie” was not in the script and was an adlib by Billy. Sally was looking towards the director who signaled her to just go along with it. The famous quote, “I’ll be having what he’s having” was suggested by Billy Crystal and was not in the actual script. The fake orgasm on the other hand was a suggestion from Meg which the director loved and inserted into the script.
